Dear Students,

We hope you have been enjoying the sunny weather and continuing to adjust to life during the lockdown. If you still have work to catch up from weeks 1-7 and/or you still need some help with some areas – please get in touch so we can see how we can help.

We would like you to complete the online survey for us so we can see where students may have gaps. Week 8 work will start today also and you will start to notice that staff are putting audio commentary on some of the set work to help you understand what the key points. There may also be links to some websites with online tutorials such as the Oak National Academy or GCSE POD.

As well as being able to email teachers or contact them for help on TEAMS we will also be sending you a timetable in the next few days with slots during the week where staff will be available to help and to answer any questions you may have.

We will also be giving you a phone call again soon – but please get in touch beforehand if you need help.

Stay safe and do your best to keep a structure to your days.

Please fill in the Year 12 Survey here

Health and Social Care Double - Mrs WalshLearning Aim C: You should now have a strategy that you are writing about that affects the public in the North East. I want you to focus on writing the Aims and Objectives of this strategy. So what specifically it is aiming to achieving and how it hopes to achieve this. Please use all the evidence you can find to support this (graphs, facts, figures and authentic research). Please look at the power point in Teams to help you with this.Learning Aim C: You must explain how it increases public awareness about this problem. For example, if it’s childhood obesity how does the strategy inform the public about what it does, do they go into primary schools and educated the children or is the target audience the parents? So how do they inform them on the risk to their children? Please look at the power point in Teams to help you with this.Learning Aim C: You need to explain what approaches the campaign is using to promote its message to the public. Please look at the power point in Teams to help you with this. I have extended the power point to explain the approaches that may be used.
