Whilst students are absent from school self-isolating they can still be getting on with their school work.  Most of our departments now have a lot of resources built up in Microsoft Teams, a platform which can be accessed via computer, tablet or phone.  More instructions on how to log into Microsoft Teams can be found here.

Below is a guide to what students should learning in lessons in each of their subjects over the next three weeks and the allotted time they should spend on each subject.  Some of it will rely on using Teams, GCSE Pod and some will be a more independent study.

Don’t forget, you can always fill in time with a good reading book. We have an extensive Recommended Reading List on the website, all grouped by age.  The even better news is students can access Accelerated Reader at home to complete quizzes about the books.  More information about that can be found here

Exercise
If you are going to be in isolation in your home for a period of time it is important to keep active as much as possible to keep those muscles moving.  Our PE Dept has a couple of links on their Facebook page, however, there are loads of videos of Just Dance and Exercise Routine videos on Youtube which can be a fun aid to keep moving.
