I would like to thank you for your support during this academic year in school. I cannot stress enough how important it is that we work together to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our students.
In September we will operating with a new pastoral structure in place. We have appointed five non–teaching Pastoral Managers who will have operational responsibility for the welfare of students in each of the five years in main school.
From September 2018 the pastoral structure in main school will be;
|Year Group||Pastoral Manager|
|Year 7||Mrs. J. Johnson|
|Year 8||Mrs. T. Williamson|
|Year 9||Mrs. R. Wilson|
|Year 10||Mr. F. Hall|
|Year 11||Mr. M. Blackwood|
Assistant Headteacher – Mr J.Devenney
Deputy Headteacher – Mr P.McMahon
We will no longer have Heads of Year in place. I would like to acknowledge the excellent work done by Mrs Evans, Mr Morrison, Mrs Hickey, Miss Parker and Mrs Phillips over recent years. Your first point of contact with the school over routine matters will continue to be through your child’s form tutor. Our newly appointed non–teaching Pastoral Managers will assist with any specific worries or issues that in the past would have been handled by Heads of Year.
I would like to remind parents/guardians that adherence to our school uniform is an essential part of our Behaviour and Attendance Policy and draw particular attention to two specific aspects. With regard to footwear, formal plain black school shoes must be worn by all students. Hairstyles should not contain obvious artificial colouring or lines/ stripes. Full details of the Behaviour and Attendance Policy can be found on our school website by clicking here.
Thank you again for the unbelievable level of support you provide.
