On the last day of term, we supported Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group in their annual Christmas Jumper Day.
This is the fifth year in succession we have taken part in the event and we are pleased to say this year we have raised a massive £1161 for the local charity.
Mr Hope, who organises the school’s contribution towards the jumper day said: “Jumper day has become a bit of a tradition at EMS and the staff and students all look forward to it. This year we have collectively raised a total of £1161 taking us to well over the £5000 barrier for the five years we have taken part in the event. We are proud to support Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group and we will continue to do so in future years.”
“I would like to thank all of the students and staff and EMS for supporting the event and donating so generously and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
