On Wednesday 19th December, St. Hilda’s Church on Hartlepool’s historic headland, played host for our Annual Christmas Concert.
The concert has been held there for many years and always provides a beautiful setting for an evening of music and readings from our talented students.
As in previous years, there was only standing room available as people poured through the doors to enjoy one of the most popular evenings in our busy calendar of events.
The audience witnessed stunning performances from our Orchestra, Youth Voices and the Woodwind Ensemble along with two solo performances from Year 13 students Jake Haygarth and Nicole Lopez.
The Chamber Choir were also on hand to give numerous performances, one of which being O Holy Night, a classic that the audience looks forward to every year.
We would like to thank the parishioners of St. Hilda’s for welcoming us as they do every year and their hospitality whilst we are there.
On behalf of everyone at EMS, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
There’s plenty of pictures from the evening in the Gallery to have a look through and some videos of performances below.
