All students in Year 9 to Year 13 are invited to participate in a national event at Wembley Arena called “FLAME!” This is the fourth event of this kind which is hosted by CYMFed (Catholic Youth Ministry Federation) and it will be a most memorable faith experience and filled with joy.
As part of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle, we are going to fill a coach from Hartlepool. YMT have organised a coach from each area of the Diocese and we have 45 spaces available to offer our young people.
Flame will take place on Saturday 2nd March but we would like to get our coach filled up as soon as possible. The Holy Family Parish have kindly offered to pay the full cost of the trip up front and have subsidised it heavily, meaning that the financial cost to you will be a bargain at £20. Please note this is a non-residential trip.
This is such an exciting opportunity for anyone in Year 9 or above to journey with each other to Wembley and to celebrate such an amazing day with 10,000 other young people, 1000 of which will be from our own Diocese.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis upon receipt of the £20 which would secure a place.
If you would like your son / daughter to participate in such an incredible national faith event, please could you complete the online form and payment no later than Friday 21st December.
All payments must be paid through the ParentPay system. If you have any problems with ParentPay, please contact Miss Tait on firstname.lastname@example.org for help, making sure you include your child’s name, D.O.B and form group in the email.
When you submit the reply slip below the information will be sent to us, we will process and add your child to the trip in Parent Pay. Please allow 24 hours for this to happen, longer if it is a weekend.
More information about the logistics of the trip will be given as time progresses, but for now, let’s get these forms returned and money paid to secure those precious and limited places. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me here at school.
