The Music and Performing Arts Department is a lively and exciting place where students are free to express themselves creatively through Music, Drama and Dance. We are very fortunate to benefit from amazing state of the art facilities including a digital recording studio, break out practise spaces and a dance studio.
As well as all students in the school benefitting from classroom lessons, we also offer private music lessons in a range of instruments taught by some of the best instrumental teachers in the area.
Outside of the classroom we have a long standing extra-curricular tradition which includes the EMS Orchestra, Chamber Choir and Big Band. More recently we have started a Rock School, Drama Club, Elite Dance Group and EMS Youth Voices (a choir for Y7 & 8 students) to name but a few!
